    The class assumed a detailed knowledge of Yoga already. Instructor did not really cover what a pose looked like. It was very quick and hard to follow. I didn't really find the class calming and enjoyable.

    The class was aimed at people who have a knowledge of yoga and physically were fit, assumption was made that people were familiar with yoga terminology. It was a more vinyasa/ashtanga flow style class which may not be what beginners are looking for, however advertised to those with a yoga background and physically fit this would have been fine. There seemed to be a lack of awareness from the tutor as to how people were coping with the moves and certainly no attention to people who were not in the correct postures - more emphasis was on keeping up. I would also question whether when we sign up for these classes we are responsible for our own contraindications to poses - some of the moves I would have checked with people first if there were any potential health issues and also whether they knew how to get into a pose safely. Also there was no demonstration/explanation before getting into a pose as to how to exit a pose safely which is where a lot of injuries can happen.

    This class was working to a very fast pace which was very good for people who had been doing yoga for sometime but was not suitable as a beginner class.
    Fortunately I have previous experience of yoga and pilates so I liked the class.
